Eshna is a counsel and has a wide-ranging experience in commercial and civil litigation. She has a well established name in insolvency and bankruptcy laws, company law and arbitration law. She regularly appears before the National Company Law Tribunals across India, the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal, Delhi and the Supreme Court of India. She also appears before various arbitral tribunals.
Her experience ranges from insolvency at the instance of financial creditors and operational creditors for both corporate debtors and personal debtors to approval of resolution plan of corporate giants. She also is a member of IWIRC, India. She has penned down an article in Legal Guardian and Touchpoint, INSOL.
She also appears in arbitral tribunals comprising of referred judges of the Supreme Court, Delhi High Court, Bombay High Court as a counsel in various domestic and international commercial arbitration, ad-hoc and institutional arbitrations. She also appears before various High Courts in matters relating/arising out of arbitration. Her experience ranges from fact intensive arbitrations to complex legal commercial issues in construction, real- estate, Design Build Finance Operate Transfer projects, software services.
Apart from representing Malaysian and Singaporean entities in a dispute relating to a construction contract, she has also represented the only Indian entity that provides services of law enforcement and intelligence agencies in National Security and Communication Industries and Indian concerns of United Kingdom entities. She has also been a legal researcher and legal analyst to law expert witness in arbitrations seated in Singapore under the ICC Rules. She has also been a speaker on various forums on arbitration. After her first publication in arbitration as author with Statute Law Review, Oxford, she has penned various articles published in SCC as a legal researcher/analyst.
